Hi! We are Troy and Socorro Gill. We have three beautiful girls, two of which are now adults and one that is a newly married and a mom of two! Troy and I have learned a lot about children and homeschooling in our twenty-seven plus years of marriage and twenty-three years of being parents through the many trials and errors that come providentially in the different seasons of married life with children.

But, it’s on these grounds that the seeds of faith, prayer and determination that this ministry to families has been sown for the benefit of other new families and the glory of God.

“Consider it great joy, my brothers, whenever you experience various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. But endurance must do its complete work, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.”

Back in 2015 my husband was offered an opportunity to manage a remediation project as an environmental engineer in central New Jersey. As a homeschool family we saw the opportunity and seized it! This excursion to New Jersey would become the catalyst that placed me, Socorro, back in a position to be catapulted into my life’s mission, to share the love of Christ to families. Through the guidance and prayerful support of my husband Troy, our children and several close friends, we founded our home-based nonprofit organization to empower families from our lessons learned as homeschool parents, new business owners and through local community organizations that that offer hope for families in need of our cooperative services.

In 2021 we became franchise business owners in a liquidation industry. Just this year, 2025 we decided to sell it to focus more on this passion ministry. Being in business for ourselves forced us to better understand the ins-and-outs of for profit business development in order to be better stewards of this nonprofit passion project that is TLC Squared. Our family dynamics are seasonally changing, but that is the cycle of family life. We live each day to the glory of God and can only trust in His faithfulness because there is nothing better than knowing there is a God who loves us, sees us and wants the best for us until we meet Him in heaven.

TLC Squared is a faith based, charitable and educational organization that through its mission could involve dealing with information that is private, personal, or organizational (financial status, meetings, planning, etc) in nature. This information could be embarrassing to those who share or potentially used for criminal purposes. TLC Squared ministries believes that it is important for those with access to this information not share it outside the organization and/or with others within the organization unless absolutely necessary or required by law. The following information provides both TLC Squared Ministries’ Statement of Faith and Confidentiality Policy that are to be adhered to by everyone in leadership positions or otherwise is part of any or all of the different ministries of TLC Squared Ministries. That would include, but is not limited to, mentoring, counseling, board of directors, A-team, fundraising, and organizing activities related to TLC Squared Ministries. Those desiring to work within TLC Squared Ministries are required to agree to and sign a TLC Squared Ministries Statement of Faith and Confidentiality Agreement.

Statement of Faith

TLC Squared Ministries subscribes to the Statement of Faith of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE):

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
